ALVA, OKLAHOMA - The Great American Conference released the annual preseason coaches poll on Tuesday afternoon. The Rangers were selected 12th by the conference coaches. 

Leading the poll is the Harding Bisons, whom the Rangers open the 2025 season on September 4th at home with a scheduled kickoff of 6:00 PM. The Bisons had a league-high nine first-place votes. Ouachita Baptist was second with 108 points and the last three first-place votes. Southern Arkansas rounded out the top three with a total of 99 points. 

Henderson State finished fourth in the preseason poll with 96 points total, followed by Southeastern Oklahoma State, closing out the top five with 72. East Central was voted sixth at 68 followed by Southwestern Oklahoma State and Arkansas-Monticello. 

Southern Nazarene rounded out the top 10 with 39 points, followed by Oklahoma Baptist at 11th and Northwestern at 12. 

The Rangers will kick off the season at home on September 4th with kickoff set for 6:00 PM.
