JOPLIN, MISSOURI - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Cross-Country team placed ninth out of 33 competing teams at the Missouri Southern Stampede this Saturday morning. The team ended the meet with 400 points.
Celestine Kiborus was the fastest runner for The Lady Rangers with a time of 19:55, improving her time from last weekend by 18 seconds. Cadence Long-Torres was right behind her with a time of 20:07, improving her time by a minute and 33 seconds. Jessica Myers was just one second behind Torres at 20:08. Harley Woody crossed the finish line at 20:20, Ivy Washington at 20:37, Elizabeth Dorado-Barrera at 21:17. Seriah Vess finished off with a time of 21:44, Tegan Althouse at 21:57, Elizabeth White at 22:06.
The Rangers are headed to Lawton, on Sept. 26 to compete at the Cameron Invitational meet.
