TYLER, TEXAS - Ranger Cross Country traveled to Tyler, Texas for their first meet of the season at the UT Tyler Cross Country Opener on Saturday morning. The lady Rangers finished 6th overall out of ten teams.Â

Freshman Jessica Myers finished on top for the rangers placing 23rd overall with a time of 20:42.20. Following close behind was Cadence Long-Torres. She placed 27th with a time of 20:49.92.

Harley Woody and Celestine Kiborus placed 32nd and 33rd respectively. Woody had a time of 21:11.45. Kiborus ran 21:14.50.

The next back to back Ranger finishers in the top 50 were Elizabeth Dorado-Barrera, placing 44th with a time of 22:31.76 and Seriah Vess placing 45th with a time of 22:37.15.

Rounding out the top 50 the last athlete to score points for the Rangers was Tegan Althouse with a time of 22:51.63. She placed 48th.

The lady Rangers return to action next Saturday at Bethel College in Newton, Kansas.
