OWASSO, Okla. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State men's golf team finished second at the Hillcat Classic on Tuesday, with all six golfers finishing the top 20 of the tournament.

Southwestern won the tournament by shooting three under par, while Cooper Scheck of Fort Hays State won the individual tournament by shooting rounds of 73, 67, and 70.

Pierce Geminden finished 11th in the tournament, as he opened up the invitational with back-to-back rounds of 74 before finishing with a round of 71 with three birdies. Chris Xiao came in 13th, as he shot 75 in his first two rounds, including an eagle on the seventh role in the opening round, before closing out the final round by shooting 71 with two birdies and another eagle.

An-chieh Tsai finished in 16th with 74 in the first round and an eagle on hole 14 before improving with 68 in the second round with six birdies and closed out by shooting 82 in the final round. Max Courange, Matti Zerwin, and Zac Farmer all tied for 20th place, with Courange shooting rounds of 78, 73, and 74, Farmer shooting 73, 72, and 80, and Zerwin shooting 72 in the first round with five birdies, 77 in the second round, and 76 in the final round.

The Rangers will back in action on March 16, when they travel to the Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond for the Oak Tree Invitational hosted by Oklahoma Christian University.
