ALVA, Okla. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State softball team dropped their final game and series against Southern Arkansas, 11-0.
Grace Hulsey started on the mound for the Rangers. Both teams were held in check after the first two innings; however the Muleriders opened the game with a solo home run in the top of the third. The Muleriders added another run after an RBI single.
Southern Arkansas proceeded to hit four home runs and tacked on 11 runs. The Rangers had no answer as they remained scoreless.
Northwestern Oklahoma State is back in action on March 20 in Monticello, Arkansas to face the Cotton Blossoms of the University of Arkansas-Monticello, with the first pitch at 3 p.m.
