ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State forward
Kira Bass added another accolade to her career, as she was named to the D2CCA Women's Basketball All-American Third Team.
This is the third different team she has been named to this season, as she was on the D2CCA Women's Basketball All-Central Region First Team, the ALL-GAC First Team, and earned GAC Player of the Year.
Bass averaged 20.6 points per game on 48% shooting to lead in the GAC in scoring and place in the top 10 of Division II. She also finished second in the conference and in the top 30 of Division II in rebounds by averaging 9.6 rebounds per game. She racked up 14 double-doubles over the season, placing her at first in the GAC and in the top 20 in Division II.
