ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State pitcher Logan Sandoval was named the Great American Conference pitcher of the week for week five of the season following his performance in the 5-1 victory over East Central last Saturday.

He pitched all nine innings for his second complete game of the season and threw 98 pitches while only allowing one run and five hits while striking out three batters for his second win of the season.

The Rangers will be back in action on March 4, when they take on Washburn University at 3 p.m. at Myers Stadium.
