ALVA, Okla. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State Softball team dropped the final game of the series against Henderson State. 

Pitcher Chloe Brown started on the mound for the Rangers.  

After shutting out the Reddies in the first inning, Northwestern got the first run of the day after an RBI single from Delaynie Esterly.  

The Rangers would tack on two more runs in the bottom of the third after RBIs from Abby Baglin and Taygan Graham to make it a 3-0 ball game after three innings of play.  

Henderson State responded with two scores of their own in the following inning to cut the Rangers lead to one.  

Northwestern held the Reddies in check until a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning from Henderson State to give the Reddies the lead.  

Henderson State takes this game 5-3.
