Records: Missouri Western (7-4, 0-0 MIAA), Washburn (9-3, 0-0 MIAA) - Northwestern (1-12, 0-1 GAC)
Location: Noble Complex- Shawnee, Okla.

SHAWNEE, Okla. – The Rangers took on two MIAA opponents in Missouri Western and Washburn on day two of the MIAA- GAC challenge falling to both teams in three straight sets.


Individual Leaders
  • Hayley Brattain led the way with 13 kills for the two games.
  • Carley Geer put up a tremendous defensive effort with 25 digs over the two games.
  • Vanessa Maile pitched in 19 assists over the two games.
 
 Game Changer
  • The Rangers were unable to mount any offense in the first set and just couldn't recover from Missouri Westerns offensive attack.
  • In game two against the Ichabods the Rangers had a team .009 hitting percentage and could not get any offense going.
  • Washburn jumped out to early leads in each set and Northwestern struggled to keep up.
  • Despite the offensive struggles the Rangers totaled 57 kills for both games

  • Northwestern Oklahoma State Volleyball will be back in action Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. when they travel to Weatherford to take on the rival Bulldogs of Southwestern Oklahoma State.
