SHAWNEE, Okla. – The Rangers took on two MIAA opponents in Missouri Western and Washburn on day two of the MIAA- GAC challenge falling to both teams in three straight sets.
Individual Leaders
- Hayley Brattain led the way with 13 kills for the two games.
- Carley Geer put up a tremendous defensive effort with 25 digs over the two games.
- Vanessa Maile pitched in 19 assists over the two games.
Game Changer
- The Rangers were unable to mount any offense in the first set and just couldn't recover from Missouri Westerns offensive attack.
- In game two against the Ichabods the Rangers had a team .009 hitting percentage and could not get any offense going.
- Washburn jumped out to early leads in each set and Northwestern struggled to keep up.
- Despite the offensive struggles the Rangers totaled 57 kills for both games
