Lady Rangers Handle Business on the Road, Win 74-67

Box Score GOODWELL, Okla.- The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's basketball won their third straight game in non-conference action over Oklahoma Panhandle State by a final score of 74-67.

Junior Jade Jones scored 22 points to lead a Lady Rangers offense that shot 41% from the field. 13 of Jones' point came by way of the free throw line as Northwestern gained the advantage late in the third quarter and never allowed the Aggies back into the contest.

Eight points from freshman Selena McDonald in the final minutes of the third quarter pushed the Lady Rangers ahead to a 54-52 advantage heading into the final quarter. The Aggies narrowed the lead back down to two points with just over five minutes remaining in the contest before consecutive lay-ups from Jones and McDonald rebuilt the lead back up to six.

McDonald finished the night with 15 points and a team high six rebounds. 

Eight consecutive made free throws by the Lady Rangers allowed them to close out their third straight victory after an 0-2 start.

Sophomore Destinee Robinson scored a season high 10 points while junior Jakeria Otey netted 10.

Northwestern will return home for their next contest inside of Percefull Fieldhouse on Nov. 25 against Tabor College with tip-off set for 1 p.m.
