Hot Springs, Ark. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State men's golf team dropped the final match to Missouri Southern State 5-0 to finish at the Battle of the Belt, hosted by Henderson State University at the Hot Springs Country Club.
The Rangers lost in each group against MSSU to finish in sixth place. Henderson State swept through match play to finish first, followed by St. Edward's. Union's Jordan Botwinick topped the individual ranks shooting a eight-under, 208.
Individually, Parker Rehorn finished tied for 10th with a three-round total of 70-74-82—226 and Tyler Berryhill posted a 81-79-80—240 for 29th. Colten Person was 35th at 82-80-90—252, Joey Nix was 36th at 83-89-82—254, while Keenan Hofstad carded a 87-81-88—256 to finish in 37th.
This was the final fall event for the Rangers as the team will be back in action in the spring.
