Neiderer Wins GAC Player of the Week

ALVA, Okla- Northwestern Oklahoma State Lady Rangers are coming off a 2-0 week as we head into the winter break. The Red-and-Black completed wins over Bacone College 96-47 and Southeastern Oklahoma State 71-68.

Lady Ranger senior Kinsey Neiderer is being rewarded for a phenomenal past week after helping Northwestern to two wins. The Okarche, Oklahoma native played 54 minutes this past week. She completed the week with a total of 40 points through two games. She finished the week shooting 14-20 from the field for 70%, including 12-17 from behind the arc. Neiderer averaged 20 points per game this past week with an average of six three-pointers per game along with 4.5 rebounds per contest.

She started the week off, hitting seven threes in only 17 minutes of action on Tuesday versus Bacone, helping the Lady Rangers to the double-digit victory. She finished the Tuesday contest with 23 points, five rebounds shooting 80% from the field on 8-10 shooting.

On Saturday, when the Rangers returned to conference play, Neiderer shot 60% on 6-10 shooting, including five more three-pointers finishing the game with 17 points with four rebounds and a steal helping Northwestern to a 71-68 victory.

She receives this accolade following a great week continuing her phenomenal start to the season. The Ranger guard is shooting 52% from the field, including 55% from behind the arc for three. She averages 10 points per game with three rebounds and 1.2 steals per game.

The Lady Rangers will return to action on Thursday, December 30th, against Southern Arkansas, followed by a New Year's Day game against Arkansas-Monticello.
