Lady Rangers Host SWOSU Bulldogs Today at 5:30 p.m.

ALVA, Okla. – The Lady Rangers will be back in action today at 5:30 p.m. inside Percefull Fieldhouse for a rivalry matchup against the Bulldogs of Southwestern Oklahoma State. 
 
In their previous meeting on Jan. 25 in Alva, the Bulldogs pulled out an 87-77 win in the final minutes. Kaylee Jo Neeley scored 20 points, grabbed six rebounds, stole the ball and tallied four assists. She shot 8-of-14 from the field and 3-of-4 from the free-throw line. Scout Frame finished the contest with 14 points, five rebounds and one steal. She shot 6-for-10, including 2-for-5 from deep. Mya Johnson recorded a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. She finished shooting 5-for-7 from down below and 3-of-4 from free throw range. Johnson also blocked two bulldogs. Kiana Walker scored 12 points and grabbed three rebounds, she also drilled four three-pointers. Lizzie Shephard rounded out the scorers in double figures with 10 points, five assists, three rebounds and a block. She finished shooting 4-of-9 from the field including 2-of-5 from three-point range.

Northwestern enters the contest 6-10 overall and 4-10 in GAC play.

After 16 games, Bailey Brown leads the Red-and-Black in scoring, she averages 12.2 points and 9.1 rebounds. Brown is shooting 40.6% from the field and 80% from the free-throw line. 
 
Johnson chips in 11.7 points with 8.5 rebounds. Johnson is making 61.2% of her shots and 56.3% of her free throws. 
 
S. Frame shoots 45.4% from the field, 35% from outside and 67.6% from free throw range. She averages 11.6 points and 4.4 rebounds. 
 
Shephard posts 6.8 points and 2.3 rebounds. Shephard shoots 80% from the free-throw line and 30.6% from the field.

After the victory in Alva, the Bulldogs were led by Karly Gore with 19 points, three steals, two assists and six rebounds. Regan Crawford finished with 15 points and two rebounds. Makyra Tramble posted 14 points, nine rebounds, four steals and two assists. Rounding out the double figure scorers was Maddie Sperle who ended the matchup with 12 points, three steals and one block. 

SWOSU is 13-2 overall and 13-2 in the Great American Conference.

Lauren Ramey is shooting 46.9% from the field and 33.8% from three-point range. Ramey averages 11.1 points and 4.1 rebounds. 
 
Bethany Franks averages 9.9 points and 7.5 rebounds, she's shooting 43.7% from the field and 73.3% from the free-throw line.
