Alva, Okla.- Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Golf team released their 2021 fall schedule this week. The team will participate in four total events this fall, ending with Northwestern hosting their Ranger Invite.
"This group of ladies, returners and incoming freshmen, are so fun to be around on and off the course! These girls have been working all summer and I can't wait to see what happens on the course!" head coach Nikkole Donk stated.
The team will tee off their season at the beginning of September, starting in Blue Springs, Missouri, playing in the Central Region Fall Preview hosted by Southwestern Oklahoma State University. This event will take place September 7th-8th, teeing off at 8 AM at the Adams Pointe Golf Club.
The Rangers will then turn around the next week to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, to compete in Northeastern Oklahoma State's event as part of the NSU Women's Classic. This will take place at The Club at Indian Springs.
Following the NSU Classic, Northwestern will have a break as they travel to Hot Springs, Arkansas, about a month later as part of the 2021 NCAA DII Central Region Preview hosted by Great American Conference opponent Henderson State University at the Hot Springs Country Club. The Great American Conference Golf Championships and the NCAA Division II Regionals will be hosted here in the spring season.
The Women's Golf Team will then conclude the fall season by hosting the Ranger Invite in Enid, Oklahoma, at Meadowlake Golf Course, for the first time since the 2019-2020 season.This will round out the fall season for the Rangers before competing through the spring season. The Rangers are the defending champions after finishing first in the fall of 2019 at the Ranger Invite.
The women's team will have five returners to the team this fall season in Madison Masch, Mackena Tennyson, Angela Egger, Samantha Friday, and Savannah Monahan.
"I could not be more excited and grateful for the group of young adults we get to coach," Donk stated.
