ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Basketball graduate Scout Frame will continue her basketball career in Ireland with SETU Carlow Women's Basketball team. On top of playing for Carlow's team Frame will be representing the Sports Changes Life program as well.
"I'll be in southeast Ireland playing for the Carlow women's team. I'm super excited about getting the opportunity to play overseas and to continue playing the sport that brings me so much joy. It wouldn't feel right for September to roll around & for preseason not to start. Luckily for me I get to push that feeling off a little longer. I will also be getting a master's degree over there. Once again, I'll get to embrace the lifestyle of a student athlete." stated Scout Frame
Frame transferred to Northwestern for the 2020-2021 season. In her two seasons with the Rangers she accumulated 684 points averaging 14.87 per game along with an even 100 offensive rebounds and 279 total for her Ranger career. On the defensive side of the ball she averaged over a steal per game finishing with 56 in 46 games played. In the 2021-2022 season on December 18th Frame reached a collegiate milestone as she scored her 1,500 career point.
"I'm so excited for Scout and this amazing opportunity. There is no doubt she will make all her Lady Ranger family proud while she is there." I believe she scored 36 points in her first game, so I would say she is adjusting well!" stated head coach Tasha Diesselhorst
"Lastly, a really cool & exciting part about my journey to Ireland is that I will be representing an organization called "Sport Changes Life." Their main focus is to raise the aspirations of kids through sport. I will be a Victory Scholar. I will get to work with these kids & show them the game that has given so much to me, what it can do for them." Frame said on the opportunity in Ireland. "I miss my Ranger family, but I'm excited to watch them from across the pond. Even if that means staying up past midnight just to watch them live. RRR!"
