Men's 2022-2023 Basketball Schedule

ALVA, OKLAHOMA - The Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's basketball season is approaching fast with tip-off set for right over a month away. The Rangers will play six non-conference games before jumping into Great American Conference games which will conclude the 28 game schedule with 22 conference games. 

 

Northwestern will have 13 total home games with 11 of those in conference along with two non-conference games which include Cameron University and Manhattan Christian College. There will be two neutral location games in Bismarck, North Dakota in the yearly MIAA/ GAC challenge against Northeastern State and Central Oklahoma. The Rangers will have two road non-conference games with one in Wichita Falls Texas at Midwestern State University and Cameron University in Lawton Oklahoma. 

 

The Rangers home opener for the 2022-2023 season will take place on Tuesday November 22nd against Manhattan Christian College. This will open a three game home stand continuing with Cameron University, right before the GAC conference opener will tip-off on Thursday December 1st with a 7:30 PM start. 

 

Northwestern will then start a four game stretch with one home and three away games before the New Year. The Rangers will close the 2022 portion of the schedule with @Oklahoma Baptist, at home versus Southern Nazarene, away at Cameron University and @Southeastern Oklahoma State to close out the first part of the season.

 

The Red-and-Black will open the 2023 calendar with two straight home games against Southern Arkansas, and Arkansas Monticello on January 5th and 7th, before heading to Arkansas in Arkadelphia against Henderson State, and Ouachita Baptist. The third straight game away from Percefull Fieldhouse will be at East Central. Northwestern will then have three of the next four in Alva against Oklahoma Baptist, Harding, and Arknasas Tech with the exception being Southwestern in Weatherford, Oklahoma. 

 

The final month of the regular  season will begin with two consecutive road games against Arkansas Monticello, and Southern Arkansas before returning home for a three game stretch. This will begin with the final games against Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State for the season. Northwestern will travel to Russellvile and Searcy Arkansas to start three on the road finishing at Southern Nazarene. Northwestern will then host the final game of the season on February 25th against Southeastern.

 

The Great American Conference tournament will then take place starting on Thursday March 2nd before concluding over the weekend.
