ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Golf closed out the Tulsa Cup on Tuesday afternoon to finish the fall portion of the schedule. The tournament was hosted by Rogers State at the Indian Springs Country Club in Broken Arrow.

 The Rangers placed 17th overall in the invitational after finishing with a total of 965 through three rounds (323-323-319). 

Rogers State led the way in the tournament with a final total of 907 (304-306-297) followed by Washburn and Southwestern Oklahoma State rounding out the top three. Jack Phillips of Southwestern Oklahoma State was the individual winner. 

Matti Zerwin was the best individual finisher for the Rangers after finishing with a total of 235 after a 75 in round one before back to back 80 to close out the tournament. Zerwin finished with five birdies in the tournament, along with finishing with a total of 33 pars in the course. 

Second for the Rangers was Davan Smith who had a total of 239 after having an 83 in round he lowered his round total from the first in each. Round two had a 76 for his low in the tournament before an 80 in the third. Smith had five birdies with 26 pars. 

After a total of 247 between the three rounds Max Courange had a round best of 76 in round three of the tournament. He placed 78th overall with 31 pars and one birdie in the tournament. 

Pierce Geminden was fourth for the Rangers placing 86th overall in the tournament finishing with a total of 251 with his three rounds 81-87-83. Geminden had three birdies through the three rounds with 21 pars. 

Caden Holmes was the final Ranger placing 88th overall in the tournament with a 91-80-83 for his three rounds. He had 24 pars in the tournament while adding two birdies in Tulsa.
