NEWTON, Kan. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's golf team placed fourth at the Newman Fall Invitational on Tuesday.
Missouri Western won the tournament by shooting 20 above par, while Saya Schweitzer of Missouri Western won the individual tournament by finishing six under par with a total of 138.
Gracie Doke led the Rangers with a 10th place finish on rounds of 73 and 80 for a combined 153.
Heather Hunkele shot 76 in the first round and 78 in the last round, while
Tess Linden put up a combined 136 on rounds of 76 and 80.
Amanda Lane shot 81 in round one and 82 in round two, while
Ava Borne finished with 92 in the first round and 91 in the second round.
The Rangers will be back in action on October 6th and 7th in Edmond at the Golf Club of Edmond for the Grace Shin Invitational hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma.
