EDMOND, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State men's golf team finished 11th at the Skip Wagon Invitational on Tuesday.
St. Mary's won the tournament by shooting 34 under par, while Kongpop Kaikaew of St. Mary's finished first by shooting 13 under par.
Matti Zerwin led the Rangers with rounds of 68, 71, and 71 to finish at 22nd out of 96 golfers, while
Zac Farmer shot 69 in the first round, 76 in the second round, and rebounded with 69 in the final round for a total of 214.
Pierce Geminden posted back-to-back rounds of 72 on the first day of the tournament, and stayed consistent with 73 in the final round.
Max Courange started off with 76 in round one, but improved by shooting 68 in the second round before finishing with 75 in the last round.
Chris Xiao rounded out the Rangers by recording 76 in the first round, 71 in the second round, and 75 in the final round.
The Rangers will be back in action on October 9th in Enid at the Meadowlake Golf Course as they battle Southwestern for the Perkins Cup.
