MONKEY ISLAND, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Golf concluded the Spring Regional Preview in Monkey Island, Oklahoma at Shangri-La CC. Northwestern placed 13th overall in the tournament with a total of 625 (315-310).
Henderson State led the way in the tournament with a total of 574 (289-285) followed by Central Missouri and Arkansas Tech rounding out the top three. Felisa Sajulga led the way, winning the individual portion of the tournament for Henderson State.
Romane Lacoste led the way for the Rangers after finishing with a total of 143 between the two rounds with a best in the first one finishing one under par with a 71, followed by a 72 in the second. Lacoste led the tournament with a total of 27 pars, and a total of five birdies in the two rounds.
Northwestern individual for the tournament Heather Hunkele was second with a total of 157 (81-76) with a best round in the second with a 76. Hunkele finished with 16 pars, in the two rounds, while adding five birdies.
Agathe Lacoste finished with a total of 160 after a total of 81 in the first round followed by the second round with a 79. Lacoste's best round was the second round for the Rangers. She had a total of two brides, and 18 pars.
Tied for 71st place in the tournament was Kentyn Clark finishing next for the Rangers with a final total of 161 and a best round of 80. Clark totaled 19 pars, along with a total of three birdies.
Tess Linden was next for the Rangers tied for 74th place in the Spring Regional Preview totaling 163 after a best round of 79 in the second day. Linden had one birdie in the tournament, and a total of 18 pars finished in the preview.
Next for the Rangers is Sofia McElroy placing 77th overall with a total of 164 finishing with a total of 82 in both rounds. McElroy finished with a total of 17 pars in the tournament.
The Rangers will be in Fort Smith, Arkansas next for the Great American Conference tournament on April 21st through the 23rd of April.
