TYLER,TEXAS - The Northwestern Men's Cross Country team placed third with a combined score of 121 at the UT Tyler Cross Country Opener.
The Ranger men were led by Cooper Bell who crossed with a time of 27:30, which was good enough for a top 20 finish. Bell was followed by teammates Riley Herndon who clocked a time of 27:41 and Edward Robledo-Gonzalez who strided across the finish line at 27:43. Alan Lares and Coy Bullard were the next Rangers to finish at times of 28:02 and 28.11 respectively. Andrew Scott and Jordan Pierce rounded things out for Northwestern finishing with times of 29:02 and 29.05.
The Rangers will hit the ground running again on September 13th at the Muthama-Rogers meet in Newton, Kansas.
