ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's basketball team took home multiple awards during for the season, including
Kira Bass winning the Great American Conference player of the year.
In addition to winning player of the year, Bass was also a unanimous selection for the All-GAC first team. She averaged 20.2 points per game this season, as well as 9.5 rebounds per game in addition to 12 double-doubles on the year.
Bass was not the only Lady Ranger to receive awards, as
Summya Adigun was named a GAC elite scholar athlete.
The Lady Rangers will take on East Central tomorrow in the GAC quarterfinal in Fort Smith, Ark. at Northside Arena at 2:15 p.m.
