HAYS, Kan. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State track and field team had six student athletes compete at the Alex Francis Classic on Thursday.
The athletes competed in both running and field events,
Merric Judd ran in the 400-meter hurdles clocking a time of 57.74 seconds.
Zach Bentley entered in the high jump and recorded a jump of 1.85 meters and the long jump where he jumped 6.39 meters.
Trejon Crump also took part in the long jump and came away with a mark of 4.59 meters.
Trevon Hodge had a strong showing, wining the triple jump event with a jump of 14.56 meters. The Rangers had one athlete on the men's side compete in the Javelin event in
Ethan Burns who recorded a throw of 44.01 meters.
On the women's side the Rangers had
Alaysianea Dixie compete in the Long Jump, recording a jump of 5.07 meters.
Northwestern will return to the track on April 29 for the Great American Conference Championship meet.
