Three other Rangers also had big games as Adrian Motley put together a double-double with 16 points and 14 boards, while T'aries Taylor and Laakeem Henderson joined the double digit scoring party with 23 and 14 respectively. After a Dempsey three-pointer to give the black-and-red the lead at 20-19, the Rangers would not look back at that point and begin to pour on the offense. Northwestern would then go on a 25-5 run that would extend the home lead out to 47-26 with 04:37 remaining in the first half. The second half would see more of the same as the Rangers would hold a double digit lead over Arkansas-Monticello the entire 20:00 minutes of play. Northwestern would see its largest lead of the afternoon at 30 points when leading 103-73 with just under two minutes remaining in the game.
