MONTICELLO, Ark.- Northwestern Oklahoma State men's basketball fell to University of Arkansas-Monticello Saturday afternoon by a score of 76-67.
Individual Leaders- Deiondray Martin led all scorers on the night with 16. He also pulled down five rebounds, second most on the Ranger squad.
- T'aries Taylor was second in points on the team as he posted 12 points for the visitors.
- Leading the way on the defensive side for the Rangers was Brandon Green who pulled down seven rebounds and also recorded seven assists.
Game Changer- It was a back and forth affair early in the first half as both teams recorded seven lead changes with Monticello leading at half 34-28.
- Turnovers played a big part for the black-and-red as the 16 turnovers by the Rangers turned into 15 points for Monticello.
- In the second half, the Rangers found themselves inching closer on the UAM lead. However, a three-pointer by the Boll Weevils sealed the victory and the Rangers could not recover.
