KEARNEY, Neb. - Northwestern Oklahoma State volleyball fell to the University of Nebraska-Kearney in straight sets by a score of 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-18). This was the second day of the New Victorian Inn & Suites/Runza Suites Fall Classic. The Rangers kept it close with the Lopers through all three sets. During set two, the Rangers went on a 4-0 run which forced Nebraska-Kearney to take a timeout.

Individual Leaders

• Nora To'omalatai and Ashanti Banks both led the Rangers in kills with eight, followed closely by Asia Pipkin with six. 
• Natalie Fahey collected two aces while Kaydee Yukawa and To'omalatai both had one ace a piece. 
• Yukawa also led the way in assists with 18.

Game Changer

• A slow start for the Rangers in set one as the Lopers started the game with a 5-0 lead which forced a Ranger timeout. 
• The Rangers rattled off three straight points in set three to tie the game at 15.

The Basics - Game Two
Score: Illinois-Springfield 3 - Northwestern 1
Records: Illinois-Springfield (2-7, 0-0 GLVC) Northwestern (2-6, 0-0 GAC)
Location: Kearney, Neb.

KEARNEY, Neb. - Northwestern Oklahoma State volleyball fell to Illinois-Springfield in the final game of the tournament by a score of 3-1 (26-24, 25-21, 25-15, 25-17). The Rangers battled throughout the four sets. 

Individual Leaders

• Nora To'omalatai led the Rangers in kills with 12 followed closely by Asia Pipkin with 10 and Natalie Fahey with nine. 
• Vanessa Maile collected four aces while Natalie Fahey had two.
• Kaydee Yukawa again led the way for the Rangers in assists with 23. 

Game Changer

• The Rangers went on a 5-0 run to take an early lead in set one.
• Set three saw the Rangers take the lead and never look back as they rattled off six unanswered points.
