WEATHERFORD, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State took on Great American Conference opponent and arch rival Southwestern Oklahoma State Monday night, and fell to the Bulldogs of Southwestern Oklahoma State by a score of 90-72.

Individual Leaders
  • Leading the Northwestern offensive campaign on the night was Adrian Motleywho was able to net 21 total points for the visitors. Motley also led the Rangers in total rebounds as he was able to pull down eight boards.
  • Zachary Dumas has a solid performance as well, scoring 18 points and added four rebounds, three assists and one steal to his stat line.
  • T'aries Taylor saw a great stat sheet as well for himself as he was able to score 16 points (shooting 5-7 from three point range), three rebounds, and three assists.

Game Changer
  • The opening half brought a hard fought battle between these two rivals as the halftime score would certainly reflect that at 40-35 in Southwestern's favor. The Rangers were out shot from the field by SWOSU but the black-and-red had the upper hand in three pointer shooting heading into the second half.
  • The second half saw a completely different story unfortunately, as the Bulldogs took control of the momentum and would not let up as they closed out the game by a final score of 90-72.
