Rangers Endure to Close out the 64-56 Win Over the Reddies

ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Basketball was victorious in the final game of the home stand as they rode late momentum to a win over the Henderson State Reddies, 64-56.

Individual Leaders

Adrian Motley led the Rangers in both scoring and total rebounds as he posted a 12 and nine night to lead Northwestern.
Three other Rangers in Brandon Green, Laakeem Henderson and Zachary Dumas also finished in the double digit scoring column, all recording 11-point games.
Green not only scored a good amount of points, but was also able to pull down seven boards and dish out four assists.

Game Changer

During the first several minutes of the game, it was all Reddies as they started the ballgame on a 7-0 run, but it didn't last long as the Rangers came tearing back and eventually took the lead at the 5:29 mark in the first.
The home team went up by as many points as seven before ending the half ahead by three.
The Reddies came out ready to play again in the second as they quickly went on a 5-0 run, but once again the Rangers were able to adjust and regain the lead, and wouldn't surrender the advantage the rest of the way.
After a scoreless first half, Motley dominated in the final period, scoring all 12 of his points in the final 20 minutes.

News & Notes

The win over the Reddies is the first one of the year for the Ranger men in Percefull Fieldhouse.

Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Basketball will take the road for the next contest, next Thursday when they will take on the Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Okla. at 7:30 p.m.
