ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Basketball defeated Great American Conference opponent Southern Nazarene Thursday night at home by a final score of 79-65.
Individual Leaders- Four Rangers scored in double figures on the evening with Brandon Green leading the way with 24 on 7-of-10 shooting. He was also 9-for-14 from the charity stripe.
- Adrian Motley had himself a big night as he was the second leading scorer for the Black-and-Red, posting 23 points. Not only did he score points, but was also the leading rebounder with 12, earning himself his fourth double-double of the season.
- Deiondray Martin was next in the scoring column with 12 on 5-of-8 shooting, while Zachary Dumas was the other double-digit poster with 10.
Game Changer- Northwestern had a big first half as they put up 38 on the Crimson Storm, while holding the visitors to 21.
- One of the biggest stats of the evening was the points off turnovers as the Rangers blanked SNU 18-0.
- Free throw shooting was tough sledding for the Crimson Storm who missed 16 total free throws, going 13-for-29.
- Two Crimson Storm players in Noah Starkey and CJ Rodriguez fouled out of the contest with almost 10 minutes left, changing the momentum of the game.
