Individual Leaders

Game Changer
  • The home team created a lot of turnovers and capitalized on them as well, outscoring the opponents 22-9.
  • Early on it looked as if the Bulldogs would be a force, going up by seven in under four minutes, but the Black-and-Red had something to say about that. Over the next 11 minutes, the Rangers went on a tear, going on a 23-8 run.
  • Northwestern led SWOSU at the half by 10 and continued the thumping into the second period. In just over eight and a half minutes, Northwestern increased the lead to 18.
  • One of the Bulldogs' leading scorers on the season, Emeche Wells ended up in foul trouble and actually fouled out of the game with over 10 minutes left to play.
  • Another big game changer was the free-throw shooting as SWOSU was a dreadful 10-of-22 in the game, while Northwestern was 21-of-28 overall.
