SEARCY, Ark. - Northwestern Oklahoma State and Harding squared off for two games this afternoon with the first one going the Bisons' way 7-2.
At The Plate
The K Zone
- Matt Bickford started the day for the Rangers pitching four innings and striking out two.
- Dakota Stanek came in after Bickford pitching 2.2 innings with one strikeout.
Game Changer
- Harding got out on Northwestern early in the first inning as they would single and later score to take the 2-0 lead. The Rangers were unable to recover as the Bisons held the lead for the remainder of the game.
Leading Off - Game Two

SEARCY, Ark. - After a tough outing in game one, Northwestern's offense came alive in game two, as the Ranger hitters accounted for seven hits in the 4-1 victory.
At The Plate
- Four different batters recorded a hit for the Rangers in Xyrus Martinez, Tito Montano Jr., Jacob Long and Steven Deckard.
- Montano homered for the second straight game for the Rangers giving the Rangers the early advantage.
- Thomas Bess also had a double and a single in the game.
The K Zone
- Robert Lawhon began game two on the mound striking out eight and getting the complete game victory for the Rangers.
Game Changer
- With the Rangers down 1-0 in the top of the 5th inning, Xyrus Martinez singled to right field.
- Following the Martinez single, Tito Montano homered to left center giving the Rangers the lead.
- Jacob Long would later single up the middle to score Greg Carrington and Steven Deckard giving the Rangers the 4-1 lead.

Northwestern will travel for their next game as they take on Oklahoma Panhandle State in Enid, Okla.
