ADA, Okla. -- The Northwestern Oklahoma State football team was just inches away from knocking off the top team in the league last weekend when they hosted Southeastern Oklahoma State on Homecoming. Aharon Barnes was literally inches away from getting his hands on the last second field goal by the Savage Storm, but Carlos knocked it through to break the Ranger hearts, 30-27.

This week they will make the trip to Ada to take on the Tigers of East Central and are looking to negate last weekend and take their record to 3-3 on the year.

Last year's game went in favor of the Black-and-Red after a 42-26 thrashing of the cross-state foe. More success is looking to be added on that this time around.
