JOPLIN, MISSOURI - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Cross Country closed out their 2022 season with th NCAA Regional meet in Joplin. The Rangers finished 35th in the meet with two runners in the top 200.
" The women competed hard today and ran very consistent moving up in race distance which is hard to accomplish. Emily Smith did a wonderful job leading the team today" stated

Emily Smith led the way for Northwestern finishing 191st with a total time of 25:11.24 with an average mile time of 6:45.2 finishing first for the Rangers. Liberty Goodnow was second for Northwestern finishing with a time of 25:30.1. This time was good to move into the Ranger record book with the final time.
" The women's team competed well today at their first race in the longer distance this season. The youthfulness of these ladies looks to build this valuable experience in the future" stated

Leiyah Light was the third Ranger to finish with a final time of 26:29.02 and an average mile time of 7:06. Emily Flores finished right behind Light finishing 217th with a time of 26:36.61.
Addie Hoeme placed 225th with a time of 28:01.39 as the fifth Ranger to cross the finish line. Mallory Paruszewski finished 229th in the meet with an average mile time of 29:38.7
