LAWTON, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's cross-country team placed third at the Cameron Invitational meet this Friday morning. The team ended the meet with 51 points.
Cadence Long-Torres finished the race first for The Rangers and placed sixth overall and was in the top 10 with the time of 20:03. The next fastest runner for The Rangers was
Ivy Washington; she placed eight with a time of 20:14 just right behind Torres.
Jessica Myers and
Harley Woody finished just 10 seconds apart with times 20:15 and 20:25. Elizabeth Dorado-Barrera crossed the finish line at 21:26 and
Seriah Vess at 21:32.
The Rangers will be back in action in two weeks, when they go to Dallas to run at the Old Glory Gallop meet, on Oct. 11.
