The Northwestern women's cross country team placed fourth out of 14 competing teams in the Bethel College Muthama-Rogers Invitational meet with a score of 125.
"The women's team was led by Jessica Myers. She was the only one to receive an award on the women's team. The women packed up well together and they took care of business. Many of them are going to have a break through pretty soon," said men's and women's head cross country coach, Sterlin Broomfield.
Myers crossed the finish line seventeenth with a time of 20:46. The next fastest Lady Ranger was Harley Woody with a time of 21:06. Celestine Kiborus finished up at 21:13, Cadence Long-Torres with 21:40. Elizabeth Dorado-Barrera finished the race with a 21:53.Â
The Rangers will be back in action on Sept. 20th, when they run at the Missouri Southern Stampede in Joplin, Missouri.Â
