ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers are set for game two of the three game road trip and the second straight in Arkansas. Northwestern looks for their third straight win after a thrilling win Thursday evening on a put-back layup by Chance Love.
The Rangers enter Saturday afternoon with a 6-5 overall record this season with a 2-5 Great American Conference record and a 3-2 record away from Percefull Fieldhouse. The Tigers enter Saturday with a 3-4 conference mark and a 5-6 overall record this season with a 3-2 record on their home court.
Northwestern's last time won in exciting fashion on a layup in the final seconds from Love off of his own miss to win 66-65. Larry White and Love led the team with 14 points each with Brian Free finishing with 10 points for the three double figure scorers.
This will be the 19th meeting between the two teams as the Rangers lead the series history 11-7 overall. Northwestern swept the season series last season with a 75-69 victory in Arkadelphia and an 83-67 win in Alva last year. The Rangers are 5-5 in the last 10 meetings and 2-7 in Arkadelphia. Northwestern enters winning the last two games of the series.
On the season Malik Parsons leads the team averaging 21.0 points per game as one of three double figure scorers. He is joined by Brian Free at 14.5 points per game and Larry White at 10.3. Parson and Free lead the team in assists with 40 for Parson and Free at 34 leading the Ranger offense.
Malik Parsons and Larry White lead the Ranger defense with 19 steals each on the season. White has 18 blocks on the year as well. Shavaul Butters leads the team in blocks with 22 on the season. Butters has a team high eight rebounds per game followed by Parsons with 5.1.

The Tigers ended a two game losing streak on Thursday following a 69-68 win over Southwestern Oklahoma State in the Bill Vining Arena.
Last game the Tigers were led in scoring by LaQuan Butler Jr. with 22 points, one of four Tigers to score double figures in the win. Tylar Haynes, Ma'Darius Hobson and Reggie Martin the other players.
On the season the Tigers have three players averaging double figures in LaQuan Butler, Hobson, and Haynes. Butler leads the team with 15 points per game followed by Hobson and Haynes each with 12. Butler leads the team with 43 assists on the season.
The defensive side of the ball the Tigers have three players with 21 steals for the team high in Butler, Hobson, and Martin. Tyler Haynes is the rim protector leading the Tigers with six blocks.
