NEWTON, KANSAS - Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers Women's Cross Country team competed in the Muthama-Rogers invitational. The Rangers placed third overall in the meet out of five times.
The leading runner for the Rangers was Asia Williams placing fourth in the meet running a 19:57.99. She was one of two top 10 finishers joined by Cadence Long-Torres. Long-Torres ran a 20:10.37 for sixth overall in the meet.
Karlee Trammell finished 19th overall in the Saturday meet with a time of 22:06.52. Kate Foster finished 22:17.67 for 20th overall in the meet, the second of five straight Rangers to finish.
Ely Dorado was 21st overall in the meet with a time of 22:19.35, followed by Harley Woody and Reina Gonzales. Woody finished with a time of 22:23 .02 for 22nd in the meet. Gonzales was 23rd for 22:35.15 final time.
Haley Combs was next in 31st overall with a time of 23:32.96 and Jaime Torres-Franco with a time of 23:56.55.
Seriah Vess finished with a time of 25:01.75 placing 38th in the meet. Kayhla Talavera and Kynlee Mitchell were the final two in the top 50 for Northwestern placing 47th and 48th.
Mallory Paruszewski and Faith Paruszewski were next for Northwestern as Mallory was 56th in the meet with a time of 30:35.08 followed by Faith in 59th with a time of 35:06.61
Northwestern will return to action with next week's meet in Fayetteville Arkansas for the Chile Pepper Festival hosted by Arkansas.
