CRETE, NEBRASKA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Track and Field found success this weekend at the Fred Beile Classic behind Brandon Adolphus and Jayden Geathers each winning events. Geathers won the 60M Hurdles for the Rangers, while Brandon Adolphus won the 1000 Meter Run.
In the 5000 Meter run the Rangers had three top 15 finishers led by Edward Robledo-Gonzalez running a 16:27.40 for eighth place in the event. He was followed by Zachary Cox, and Edgar Reyes in 11th and 12 place for the 5000 Meter Run.Â
The 60M dash the Rangers had four athletes that were in the top 20 of the event. Paced by Trevor Montayne with a time of 7.21 followed by Terrence Marfo with a 7.22 for 16th place and Karlo Bogdan at 7.23 for 18th. Kyler Moore was 20th at 7.28 for his time.Â
The 200M dash was led by Trevor Montayne who led the team with a third place finish with a time of 22.96. He was one of three athletes to place in the top 10 as Wesley Hall had a time of 23.47 followed by Kyler Moore in 10th with a time of 23.86.
The 800 meter run had Jakai Coker and Crispus Atukwatse place within the top 15 of the event. Coker ran a 2:04.99 for the event for 10th place as Atukwatse placed 12th overall.Â
Northwestern found a lot of success in the 1000 Meter run as Brandon Adolphus placed first overall winning the 1000M run with a time of 2:36.81. Hunter Bellis also placed in the top five of the event with a time of 2:53.52.
The 3000 Meter run the Rangers were led by Edward Robledo-Gonzalez as one of four athletes to run in the top 10 of the event. Robledo-Gonzalez had a time of 9:33.83 for a 5th place finish. Joined by Riley Herndon in 6th place with a time of 9:37.13, Muneeer Suied with a time of 9:42.25 in ninth place and Benjamin Morfin running in 10th.Â
Jayden Geathers won the 60M Hurdles for the Rangers winning the event with a time of 8.62. He also ran with Isai Aguilar placing 11th with a time of 9.34.Â
The Rangers had two teams run the 4x400 Meter Relay as Crispus Atukwatse, Hunter Bellis, Alan Lares, and Benjamin Morfin all ran a 3:34.54 for third place in the relay. Michael Byers, Derek Cocheran, Jace Dunn, and Terrence Marfo placed fourth with a time of 3:35.40.
