Women's Track and Field Earn USTFCCCA Honors For Sixth Straight Season

ALVA, OKLAHOMA - The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Women's Track & Field  team has earned All-Academic Honors announced by the U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). In total there were over 135 teams on the list achieving the academic award.

"We are delighted to earn the academic excellence award as the success our program continues to show since joining the NCAA. Our women Cross Country & our women's Track & Field teams have been recognized for this accomplish in each sport every year in existence in NCAA. It is very obvious our students appreciate the educational opportunity provided by Northwestern, along with the success is a statement to our faculty an staff providing an excellent environment for learning" stated head coach Jill Lancaster.

The Rangers have achieved this honor from the USTFCCCA after finishing the year with a 3.35 GPA as a team in the classroom. This is the sixth consecutive year Northwestern has received this achievement. Continuing the streak of every season since adding Women's track. The Rangers were one of three Great American Conference schools honored on the list along with Harding and Ouachita Baptist.
