JOPLIN, MISSOURI - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Cross Country was on the road Friday evening for the next meet hosted by Missouri Southern in the Missouri Southern Stampede.
The Rangers overall placed 12th in the meet out of 27 programs competing. Rogers State placed first overall in the meet.
Northwestern's leader in this meet was Jamira Ross placing 40th overall with a final time of 19:57.99 pacing the Rangers to the top 15 finish. Cadence Long-Torres was second for the Rangers finishing 59th overall in the meet with a final time of 20:39.89.
Ava Miller was next for Northwestern running a 20:50.38 finishing the meet in 62nd in the meet. Elisa Bernardez ran the meet in 21:45.13 finishing the meet in 88th overall.
Reina Gonzales placed 121st overall after running the 5K in 22:45.24. Elizabeth Dorado-Barrera placed 131st in the meet with a time of 23:24.75 followed by Azucena Carrillo running a 23:29.74 placing 132nd.
Jamie Torres-Franco ran a 25:21.63 that placed her 162nd in the Missouri Southern Stampede. Angelica Robledo-Gonzalez was the next Ranger to finish running the meet in 26:33.46.
Emma Dodd ran the meet in 28:20.10 that was good for 174th in the meet.
The Rangers will travel back to Missouri in a week at the Gans Creek meet hosted by the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri on September 27th.
