PITTSBURG, KANSAS - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Track & Field was in Pittsburg, Kansas for the weekend indoor meet hosted by Pittsburg State. The Rumble in the Jungle was a successful meet for Northwestern featuring three school records, and a National Qualifying mark.

The 60M dash paced the Rangers in the meet as Kareem Small met the national qualifying mark with a time of 6.75 placing fourth overall in the 60M dash. This time with his final mark Small placed him 18th overall in America. 

In the 200M dash, the Rangers were led by Trevor Montayne with a time of 22.90 placing 39th overall in the event. Jayden Geathers placed 34th in the 400M dash with a final time of 53.18.

Christian Franklin finished with a time of 1:14.90 in the 600M run placing in the top 15 with an 11th-place finish. Riley Herndon placed 29th in the 800M run with a time of 2:00.75.

James Fincher placed 37th one of two runners in the top 40 this weekend in the mile run with a time of 4:34.38, followed by Riley Herndon with a time of 4:35.11 for 39th. Fincher also led the way for the Rangers in the 3000M run with a time of 9:06.57. 

Northwestern's 4x400 relay team of O'Shea Johnson, Eric Collins, Christian Franklin, Harrison Stapleton set the new school record in the relay. The four Rangers finished the relay in 3:19:35 placing fifth overall in the meet. 

Aiden Kimberlin set the Rangers' school record in the high jump over the weekend at the Rumble in the Jungle meet with a mark of 4.50m, placing seventh overall in the meet. Trevon Hodge placed 11th with a mark of 8.25 in the triple jump. 

Rangers will be in a three day meet from January 30th through February 1st in Wichita, Kansas for the meet hosted by Wichita State University.
