ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Track and Field athlete Kareem Small earned Great American Conference Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Rumble in the Jungle Invitational at Pittsburg State.
Kareem Small placed fourth overall in his 60M dash event on Friday, January 24th with a time of 6.75 seconds. Small has met the National Qualifying provisional mark with this time and has done so in three straight weeks.
He has been ranked as high as 13th in the Nation and currently sits 18th in the nation with his 6.75 mark and is second overall in the Great American Conference for the 60M.
Rangers will travel to Wichita State for their next indoor meet this weekend January 31st-February 1st.
