EDMOND, Okla. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's golf team placed 16th at the Grace Shin Invitational on Tuesday.
Central Missouri won the tournament by shooting 12 above par, while Mia Rallo of Central Missouri won the individual tournament by finishing six under par with a total of 136.
Gracie Doke and
Tess Linden finished as the leaders for the Rangers, as they both shot 155. Doke recorded 72 in the first round and 83 in the last round, while Linden finished with 75 in round one and 80 in round two.
Amanda Lane shot 76 in the first round and 82 in the last round, while
Heather Hunkele recorded a balanced 84 in the first round and 85 in the second round.
Ava Borne bounced back from 100 in the first round with 90 in the last round.
The Rangers will be back in action on October 9th, as they travel to the Meadowlake Golf Course in Enid to battle Southwestern for the Perkins Cup.
