ALVA, OKLAHOMA – The Great American Conference released the 2025-2026 men's basketball preseason coaches poll. The Rangers were picked eighth by the leagues coaches.

Southern Nazarene find themselves at the top of the poll with 109 points, while receiving 9 first place votes. Oklahoma Baptist with 109 points, Harding University at 95 points and Arkansas Tech with 81 points all received one first place vote Southwestern rounded out the top five with 79 points.

Henderson State University is in the sixth spot with 65 points, one point ahead of the seventh place team Ouachita Baptist with 64 points.  Northwestern completes the top eight with 56 points and Southeastern was picked ninth with 49 points.

The final three teams of the poll were Southern Arkansas holding the 10^th spot with 30 points, Arkansas Monticello in 11^th with 27 points and East Central with 24.
The Rangers open the season on the road November 8^th against Missouri State University at 7:00 p.m.
