TOPEKA, Kan. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State men's track and field team began the '25-26 indoor campaign at the Washburn University Alumni Invite.
Jeremiah Anderson started the day strong for the Rangers, as he set a new school record in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.79M. Anderson also won the open High Jump with another school record of 1.99M.
Brock Bourgeois set a school record of his own with a mark of 14.65M, which was good enough for a fourth place finish. Bourgeois also finished 14th in the Weight Throw with a mark of 13.49M.
Trevon Hodge finished eighth in the Triple Jump with a strong mark of 13.89M.
Andrew Scott led the way in the 1 mile run for the Rangers with a time of 4:38.85. This was good enough for a 13th place finish.
Russell Anderson finished 16th in the 400m dash with a time of 50.91. Oshea Johnson joined him in the event finishing 23rd with a time of 51.53.
Julian Vess was the only Ranger in the 800M. Vess finished in seventh place with a time of 2:04.42.
Coy Bullard gallantly paced the Rangers in the 5000M with a time of 16:36.95. This earned him a ninth place finish. Andrew Scott was close behind with a time of 16:38.95 for 10th place.
The Rangers resume action on Jan. 24 when they take a trip to Columbia, Missouri for the Bob Teel Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri.
