McDowell Earns Third GAC Offensive Player of the Week

ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Basketball closed out the week with a victory over Henderson State and a loss to Ouachita Baptist.  Camron McDowell earned Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his performance from February 6th and 8th games.

Rangers were 1-1 in the week after McDowell finished with two thirty-plus performances this week. He started the week with a 38-point game in a win over Henderson State. He followed with a 39-point game in a one-point loss to Ouachita Baptist.

 McDowell has now scored double digits in 12 of the last 13 games. 

Overall McDowell had 77 points shooting 62.5 (25-40) percent from the field along with knocking down ten three-pointers 10 for 19. He had 10 rebounds, and five assists along with four steals and two blocks. For the week averaged 38.5 points, five rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.

This is the fourth offensive conference player of the week for the Rangers this season as Max Alexander earned one and this is McDowell's third conference player of the week. 

Northwestern will be on the road Thursday evening against Southwestern Oklahoma State before returning home on Saturday afternoon against Oklahoma Baptist.
