ALVA, OKLAHOMA - The Rangers closed out the Ichabod Invitational hosted by Washburn in Kansas. The Rangers had 31 personal bests along with four school records set in the meet. The school records were set by Harmonie Hughes in the triple jump, Gabriella Hall with the long jump, Jamaira Ross in the 5K and the Rangers Distance Medley.
Starting with the 60M event Diamond Hilton led the way for the Rangers with a 7.90 time ranked 26th in the meet. In the 60M hurdles, Olivia Sipos was 34th overall in the event with a 9.99.
In the 200M event, Hilton led the way for the Rangers again with a 29th-place finish with a time of 26.08 in the event. In the 400M run, Azucena Carillo led the way for the Rangers with a time of 1:04.12 placing 33rd overall in this event.
Azucena Carrillo had a time of 1:33.02 placing 8th overall in the 600y event followed by Mariya Hamlin with a time of 1:41.52 placing 17th overall in the event. Cadence Long Torres led the way for the Rangers in the 800M running a 2:29.97.
Elizabeth Dorado-Barrera placed 39th overall in the 3000M with a time of 12:23.43 as the leading Ranger in this event.
In the 5K, the Rangers had a new school record for the event as Jamaira Ross ran 19:47.20 placing 23rd overall in the event.
In the High Jump Asia Hicks had a top-five finish with a mark of 1.50m placing fourth overall in the event. Gabriella Hall had a top-five finish as well in the long jump as she had a mark of 5.64m. Darianne Thompson also saw the top 20 with a 19th-place finish at a mark of 5.22m.
Olivia Saner placed 10th in the pole vault with a mark of 3.04m in the event. In shot put Emmalee Osborn placed 30th overall with a mark of 10.49m.
In the triple jump, Harmonie Hughes placed fourth overall in the event with a mark of 11.69m. This mark set the Rangers' new school record for the Triple Jump event.
Kaylan Swindle led the way with the weight throw with a 33rd-place finish and a mark of 12.51m.
The relays the Rangers distance medley consisting of Elisa Bernardez, Renaja Engermann, Cadence Long-Torres, and Jamaira Ross placed seventh overall in the event setting a new school record with a time of 13:12.78.
