Kareem Small Earns Second GAC Track & Field Athlete of the Week

ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Track and Field athlete Kareem Small earned Great American Conference Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Loper Tune Up, and Nebraska Tune up meet.

Kareem Small placed first overall winning the 60M event at the Nebraska Tune Up running a best time of 6.77. 

It was at the Loper Tune up where Small set the Rangers' new school record with a new best time of 6.72 meeting that national qualifying mark moving him to 16th best in America. He placed first at the Loper Tune up meet.

His new best time is 6.72 setting the new school record and has him sitting 16th in America on the national qualifying list.
