OWASSO, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Women's Golf concluded the Hillcat Classic hosted by Rogers State in Owasso, Oklahoma. The Rangers were at the Bailey Ranch Golf Club where the tournament was hosted, placing third overall.
Northwestern finished with a 614 (312-302) for the two round invitational led by Romane Lacoste, placing third overall in the tournament. The tournament winner was the host, Rogers State, with a 589 (297-292). The individual winner was Brecklyn Flanagan, with a total of 143 (72-71).
The leader for the Rangers was Romane Lacoste, who placed third overall with a big second round. After a 77 in round one, she was one under par with a 70. She totaled 147 for the two rounds. She finished with a total of five birdies and a total of 22 pars for the tournament.
Sofia McElroy was second on the Rangers with a total of 151, having her best round in the second round with a 74. McElroy had a total of five birdies and 18 pars through the two round classic.
Next for the Rangers was Agathe Lacoste in 16th overall, finishing with a 157 in the tournament with her best round in the first with a total of 78. She led the tournament with a total of six birdies and finished with 14 pars.
Heather Hunkele improved and had her best round in the second with a 79 and a total of 159 in the two rounds, placing 19th overall. She finished with a total of three birdies and a total of 16 pars in the Hillcat Classic.
Kentyn Clark finished with a place of 23rd overall in the tournament with a total of 160 with her best round in the second with a total of 79. Clark had two birdies, and 18 pars for the Hillcat Classic.
Kelsey Hoy-Pollard had a total of 169, her best round in the second with an 81. She finishes the tournament with a total of 13 pars and a total of three birdies. She placed 31st overall in the classic.
