ALVA, OKLAHOMA - On Friday afternoon Ranger Basketball player Camron McDowell was named to the D2CCA All-Central Region team. McDowell earns the D2CCA honors after an fantastic season with the Rangers. He add the All-Central Region team honors along with First Team All-GAC for his accolades this season.
He was second in Division II in points per game and third in the nation in total points for the season. McDowell averaged 27.3 points per game, while shooting 51.3 percent from the floor. He was first in the conference in three pointers per game and percentage for the season and ranked 31st in the nation in three pointers per game.
McDowell was second in the conference and the team leader in steals for the season with 53 on the year. He added 4.7 rebounds per game and 2.6 assists for the season.
